All sessions are at the Wildwood Community Centre on Saturdays from 9 until Noon.
The rising cost of food is one of the best reasons to garden. Gardening saves money.
We know our customers have tight food budgets and we want to help. So we gulped and lowered our prices, even though the goodies each person receives at the first session are worth more than the cost of the program.
We really want you to grow food, Calgary, so we’ve made our Vegetable Growing Immersion program as affordable as we can.
Grow Food Calgary is opening our doors wide at our next class on June 24, 2017 and everyone is welcome to attend! Anita Schill will speak about ‘Harvesting native plants sustainably’, Local Bug Specialist Ken Fry will speak about the good and bad bugs in our gardens and Donna Balzer will chat about growing fruits .
As usual, the class will be packed with information and we are opening it up to professionals and keen gardeners who missed signing up for the whole 6-month session but can’t miss the amazing June 24 line-up. Tickets are only $40.00 for this class and with a line-up like this space will be limited. Register now at growfoodcalgary.com.
